We had a great wrap-up week on Oceans.
One important thing we learned about was "Summer Safety."
In our Let's Find Out magazine, we learned:
* to always wear a helmet
* always wear sunscreen when we go outside
* always swim in adult supervision
* and to always follow pool rules
We also worked together on our Summer Spelling
and filled in missing letters to spell some summer words.
One fun fact we learned about the ocean: The depth of ocean is characterized by the amount of light that each zone receives. The amazing thing about the ocean is that there are creatures/organisms that live in each of these zones, although most all living creatures/plants live in the sunlight zone.
We went to the Ruby Pickens Tartt Public Library and got our groove on, too!
Here's a fun video!
We were so happy to be invited back to Children of the Village in Bellamy
for Movie Day and popcorn.
We watched Daniel the Tiger. It's always such a fun outing.
