last week's adventure

we are still working hard on our books about our favorite ocean creatures.

our research this week focused on clams, sea urchins, penguins, and lion fish!

the students found some stories on ZacBrowser. they are gathered here listening to Three Billy Goats Gruff. <3

we learned about our country's symbols, seasons in different capitals, and seasons in our capital.

we finished reading Pippi in the South Seas last week. And as promised, the students got to watch the cartoon version :D

we had a fantastic and educational field trip to the McWane Center in Birmingham on Tuesday.

then we broke for a Subway lunch. it was yummy!

next, we watched Titans of the Ice Age in the IMAX theatre.
