BAM field trip

Great news! We had enough money in our grant to cover lunch for the kids at Chick-Fil-A. J So, if you have already paid, there will be $5 in your child’s mailbox today in an envelope. If you haven’t paid the $5 for Wednesday’s field trip, you won’t need to now.

We will be leaving at 12:00 p.m. Students will need to wear their green Campus School t-shirts if they have one. If not, just let them wear a green shirt. We are out of shirts and won’t be ordering more because we will be getting a different designed t-shirts in August. Please leave a car seat Wednesday morning when you drop off your child if they require one.

This is going to be a great field trip, and the kids will be bringing home books that they purchased at BooksAMillion! Please read these books with your child at home. The books will be about their biomes study, and depending how much money they have left over, they may be able to pick out some other books as well. J

We added something else to the calendar for next week. Next Wednesday morning, June 26th, Ms. Jaysa and Ms. Kaley’s classes will be going to the Ruby Pickens Tartt library to learn about library skills and learn what section of the library books about their biomes are in. So, after next Wednesday, please take an afternoon or Saturday morning to go to the library with your child and let them show you what they learned about and check out some books about their biome study. They will love showing you everything they learned while at the library!

Thank you for choosing to send your child to the Campus School this summer! We are having a great time with them, and I hope they are enjoying all of the great activities the teachers have been doing. Mark your calendar for our summer book fair next week! This is something we have never done before, and we are so excited about it! There will be more information coming home this week about special activities planned to go with our book fair.
