our morning message
we made paper plate sharks for our bulletin board. I found this idea on Almost Unschoolers' blog.
first, the students cut triangles around the outside of the paper plate for the sharks teeth.
then the students bent the "teeth" inward.
next, the outside was colored grey and the inside was colored red. then the "mouths" were folded in half.
the students then drew the shark's body and the fin on a blue piece of construction paper and cut it out.
glue the fin, eyes, and mouth on and you have an awesome shark!
here are a few snapshots of free center time :)
does anyone remember this???
ms. annie bought each classroom a new easel. yay!
we also learned that there are 5 oceans!
here's a catchy song to help you remember them...
