well, we survived!!!
we made a few tweaks to our schedule but everything went great!
this morning, the students put their names on their tags and owls.
the students will also sign in everyday.

we started our brainstorming session on our biome, oceans/aquatics. here is our K-W-L chart.
K stands for know: the students told me what they already know.
W stands for want to know: the students told me what they want to learn about. I love this part! This allows the students to direct where our journey will take us.
And the L stand for learned: we will fill in this part at the end of the summer.

In a perfect world, I would be able to do this daily. But I have a feeling we will be so busy that I may not get the chance. I will post as often as time allows!
